Hi! I don’t really update this blog regularly anymore (I still have a BUNCH of questions in here though so maybe one day when I’m bored and want to do sketches I’ll finish it up LMAO) but I’ll answer your question to clear up any confusion!
Basically the “POPLOIDs” are just UTAU created by my best friend taiwonton and I. When we made them, we wanted them to be associated together as a group like a little family or something because again, she and I are good friends and we wanted our characters to be associated together. XD The title is based on “pop” music because those were the types of songs the poploids were initially intended to sing, and also it just felt cute to have a music related title *U* It doesn’t really make them special or anything, but it’s just to signify that they’re associated together—think of other UTAU groups like VIPPERS, UTAUxyz, PSS, D:loids, etc. POPLOID is just another collective UTAU group.
lame pic but I’m playing with the style I drew Sozoku and TATARI in a little earlier today. A little lame but I didn’t know what else to do without making him go OoC for no reason… Somehow this one isn’t as cartoony as the other one BUT WHATEVER THIS ANSWER IS MORE OF A TEXT RESPONSE ANYWAY SO,
Because of TATARI’s pride and gigantic ego I think he’d have a very difficult time owning up to any romantic feelings, maybe even to himself. He’s not very mature at all when dealing with romantic feelings and is comparable to a kindergartner boy really… Initially I feel if he liked somebody in a special way he’d just subconsciously hang around them more and pester them/mess with them/cause trouble with them more and find more excuses to do those things, but then once someone called him out on it or he realized himself that “woah I like a person” he’d probably get really mean and reject that because ~the great TATARI-sama is better than every single person and no person is good enough to be with him because he is that great~ ;) He’d stop hanging around them and if they tried to approach them he’d be very, very cruel about it lol. If it were a human being in particular (which is likely considering how little demon UTAU there are lol) he’d be very against it. BUT MAYBE ONE DAY A GOOD LADY WILL POP HIS EGO BALLOON AND HE’LL GET OVER HIMSELF ;(
JESUS I was trying to do all of my answers in order of them being asked but this one came up a million times so I did it really quick. It’s not much of a difference, but I think this is the chib style I’ll be using on this blog from now on.
Kasui was a little punk with a turtle backpack, Violetta was an all A’s honor student, Hayari gets to be a little moe loli thing and TATARI’s a little demon prince (without makeup!?! #8O) Were Hayari and TATARI even ever babies? Who knows, but I drew them baby-esque anyway.
We can go ahead and file this under “Things that definitely won’t end well.”
Also I’m going to be messing around with come style changes for a while because I’m not too satisfied with the blob chibis I’ve been crapping out for this, so bear with me!
